Privacy Policy

Atomics Corp ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, who receives it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It's written in plain language on purpose; if anything here is unclear, call or email us and ask.

Information we collect

What you give us. When you send a quote request or a service request through this site, we collect what you enter:

• Contact details — name, company, phone number, and email address.
• Request details — what you need, your equipment (make, model, year, system type), how urgent it is, the jobsite location you give us, and anything you write in the message box.

If you email or call us — for example, to send photos of a problem — we receive whatever you include. Photos taken on a phone can carry the location where they were taken in their file data; we don't use that information for anything beyond the job in front of us.

What your browser sends automatically. Like every website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider that receives standard technical data when a page loads: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. We don't use this to build a profile of you.

We don't ask for, and don't want, sensitive information such as Social Security, driver's license, or financial account numbers through this website. Please don't include them in a form.

How we use it

• To respond to your request — quote a system, schedule and perform service, or answer a question.
• To keep records of the work we do for you.
• To keep this website running and protect it from spam and abuse.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We don't use your information for targeted advertising, and we don't use it to make automated decisions about you.

Who receives it

• Our team, to handle your request.
• Netlify, which hosts this website and runs its forms. Netlify stores form submissions for us and sends them to our staff by email.
• Akismet (operated by Automattic), which Netlify uses to screen form submissions for spam. The contents of a submission are checked by that service.
• Our business email provider, where submission notifications and your emails to us are stored.
• Equipment manufacturers and suppliers, only when needed to do what you asked — for example, to order equipment or file a warranty claim on your system.
• Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, customers, or staff.

These providers handle information on our behalf and for the purposes above. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising — and we have not done either in the past 12 months. We don't give personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.

Tracking across websites

We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and we don't allow any third party to collect information about your activity on this site over time or across other websites. Our fonts and images are served from our own domain. Links to other sites — such as Topcon or Instagram — take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and similar technology

• Strictly necessary. We store your privacy-preference choice (which categories you allowed, the policy version, and when you chose) in your browser's local storage — not a cookie — so we remember it on your next visit. This is required for the preference banner to work and can't be turned off. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
• Analytics. None in use.
• Marketing. None in use.

If we ever add an analytics or marketing tool, it will stay off until you allow it in the preference banner, and this page will name it.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and the legacy Do Not Track (DNT) signal. If your browser sends either, we treat it as a decline for analytics and marketing — you'll see a brief on-screen confirmation, and nothing beyond strictly necessary storage runs. Because we don't sell or share personal information, there is nothing further for GPC to opt you out of today; if that ever changes, GPC will be treated as an opt-out.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and related correspondence for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep records of the work we do — then we delete them. Technical data held by our hosting provider is kept according to that provider's own retention schedule. Your preference choice stays in your browser until you clear it.

How we protect it

This site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to submissions is limited to the staff who handle them. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please don't send anything through a form that you wouldn't send by email.

Your privacy rights

You can ask us to:

• Know what personal information we have about you, where it came from, why we have it, and who we've disclosed it to;
• Get a copy of it;
• Correct anything that's inaccurate;
• Delete it, subject to records we're required to keep; and
• Opt out of any sale or sharing — though we don't sell or share personal information.

To make a request, email info@atomicscorp.com or call 559-774-1222. We'll confirm who you are by matching details you give us against what we have on file, and we aim to respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized. We won't treat you differently — in price, service, or anything else — for exercising any of these rights.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and adults. It isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Your recorded preference is tied to the policy version in effect when you gave it — if the policy changes materially, you'll be asked to review your choice again on your next visit.
